Ford Mondeo Estate (2007 – 2015) At A Glance. Fantastic to drive. Refined and comfortable to travel in. Massively roomy cabin and huge load capacity. Excellent value. Efficient ECOnetic models. Large size means it can be tricky to park without parking sensors. Top models list prices quite high new. Like most modern cars, the Ford Mondeo has The car is a Ford Mondeo 1.6 Edge on a 57 plate. I asked my neighbour who works for the AA and he tested the car with a reader which came up with fault code P0460 something to do with the fuel level sensor. I do not know where this part is on the car (thought it was under the back seats) or how this problem can be resolved. Can you help please?
There are two hoses coming to and from the heater core. They both should feel warm or hot to the touch with the engine on. If one of the hoses is hot, and the other one is cold, that is a pretty good indication that the heater core is clogged. If the neither hose has any heat, you may have air in the cooling system, low fluid, or low pressure.
HI. Don't think running fuel low makes any difference on the injectors, they are a common fault and going on my experience and other post's you are looking at between 70 - 100k, although there was someone who posted as having 1 on 128k and already done 2 sets of injectors. - look out for grey / white smoke indicating poorly / un-burnt diesel. Here is some feedback to questions raised: - car is 2006, 110w power, 2.0 TDCI LX. - Starting issues from day one, the car broke down the next day after purchase. When i viewed it, the engine had been running for 5 minutes. - when the car starts, it struggles to start for a couple of seconds, then fires to life.

Zkusil jsem vyčistit Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI - Ford Mondeo 54 plate Turbo actuator problem - Collos25 : The actuator is electronic and bakes itself common problem( they used to be vacuum operated) to work properly the turbo and the actuator have to mated together using quite complex measuring equipment the ones not done correctly normally run a bit iffy. There used to be a supplier on ebay uk called Mick the turbo who
Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCi engine failure - cheddar : I could say that my TDCi has done 106k etc etc though there is no point because all makes/models suffer occasional untypical issues. That being said I have heard of a TDCi bending a rod due to ECU / injector problems, perhaps this was a similar case.
I have the following problem with my Mondeo: ONLY and ONLY in 2nd gear when driving at constant speed the car accelerates by itself for 1 or 2 seconds every 3 or 4 seconds. So it is absolutely impossible to drive it with constant speed in the second gear. Ford Model: mondeo tdci 130 Ford Year: 2006 UK/Ireland Location: Staffordshire Share; Posted October 30, 2012. I have a similar problem with my 2003 mondeo. The only thing wrong with the Ford/PSA unit is that it is belt cam increasing running costs, the fact is both the Ford/Jag and Ford/PSA units are vastly more refined than any VW/Audi 4 cyl diesel including the 2.0 as well as being just as efficient and, it seems, no less reliable. Its a mondeo 55 plate euro 4 115 tdci with electronic actulator I get pale smoke on 1st start up, i can drive maybe 5-20 minutes without limp mode & if i get on the motorway & hit cruise control i can drive many miles without problem. The turbo whistles alot & if i rev it hard while stationary It sounds like a dump valve on release of peddle.
i get a voltage reading of 14.5 +/- and the following DTC codes. P0622 Generator field terminal circuit. P1632 Smart alternator faults sensor/circuit. 14.5 is probably a bit on the low side for a 'smart' system, depending on how you are measuring it and whether it is the initial voltage or voltage after the charging system has settled down a bit.
