The only good Battlefield single player comes from Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and the Bad Company series. Battlefield 3 tried way too hard. It had potential but fell really flat. Granted, there were pretty cool moments like the Paris mission and the jet take-off, but meh. Everything else is really cheesy and takes itself way too seriously.

In my humble opinion, DICE has never ever delivered a decent single player campaign for any Battlefield game. Battlefield 3 had a few heavily scripted moments that were theatrically cool. Battlefield 4 had one or two as well, Battlefield 1 and 5 were totally forgettable. BF2: Modern Combat's was a pointless grind.

BFV also has tank story b ut you play german and that ending hits hard as well. Gameplay wise BFV was more fun for me because guns feel better, and there's story where you can ski which is insanely fun. You can get Origin Access if you gonna just play sp and finish both. You need around 4-5 hours to beat each so 8-10 hours total.
