The only good Battlefield single player comes from Battlefield 2: Modern Combat and the Bad Company series. Battlefield 3 tried way too hard. It had potential but fell really flat. Granted, there were pretty cool moments like the Paris mission and the jet take-off, but meh. Everything else is really cheesy and takes itself way too seriously.
Switch from the single-player campaign to the online multiplayer mode, and Bad Company 2 is the first console battlefield to deliver the kind of experience that made the series’ name on the PC.
True to expectation, in 2010, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was released. This edition has a more intense single-player campaign but retains the same unique experience offered by the original version. The game starts in the great WWII where the B-Company team is sent in search of special operatives trapped deep behind enemy lines. Engage in 14 single player missions, closely linked to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 console storyline; Battle in 5 combat environments — jungle, snow, desert, indoor, and air; Utilize 5 different playable vehicle types, including a tank and helicopter; Access multiple weapons, including a knife to a machine gun to, RPG and air strikes In my humble opinion, DICE has never ever delivered a decent single player campaign for any Battlefield game. Battlefield 3 had a few heavily scripted moments that were theatrically cool. Battlefield 4 had one or two as well, Battlefield 1 and 5 were totally forgettable. BF2: Modern Combat's was a pointless grind.
The singleplayer campaign is set over two distinct periods. One level, the pilot of this relatively short story mode, is based in autumn 1944. The rest of the game is in the present day, featuring the soldiers of B Company. You play as Preston Marlowe, the newest recruit to the squad, having completed the epic missions of the first game.

Battlefield 1 Single Player Walkthrough Continuing the campaign of Battlefield 1 War Stories with live commentary. Leave a thumbs up if you enjoyed the vi

The single player missions manage to break things up fairly well, presenting players with different objectives in every mission. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a competent first person shooter
The campaign is a blast, but the staying power for BFBC2 lies in its multiplayer. Battlefield's traditional capture-and-hold Conquest mode returns in BFBC2, along with a few forms of Rush (wherein teams take turns attacking and defending a series of points on a field that, once lost, push the defenders further back into the map), and a Squad
Battlefield: Bad Company 2's single-player will take roughly five hours to complete, but the multiplayer is the main attraction here. Battlefield: Bad Company 2's final mission is pretty damn
Sequel to the first Bad Company game in the Battlefield franchise from DICE and Electronic Arts, Bad Company 2 is a classic Battlefield FPS experience that features a single-player story campaign

Battlefield 2042 has forgone a traditional single-player campaign in favor of a focus on online multiplayer. You can set up matches with AI-controlled bots , but there won’t be a solo campaign

Yesterday was no different as I made that same drive down US-101 to ' Redwood Shores studio to play a new multiplayer mode and try my hand at two new maps in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, due out

BFV also has tank story b ut you play german and that ending hits hard as well. Gameplay wise BFV was more fun for me because guns feel better, and there's story where you can ski which is insanely fun. You can get Origin Access if you gonna just play sp and finish both. You need around 4-5 hours to beat each so 8-10 hours total.
