On the Gen 2 Prius, the traction control can have problems with a space saver tyre, therefore I am not too convinced with roughly the same size, hopefully the traction control is better able to cope on the later models such as the Auris Hybrid, but having different tyres on the same axle is in practice a bad idea and hence space savers are a

In terms of size the current Prius fits in between the Auris and Avensis.
Posted December 15, 2013. The 2013 Auris retains the projector headlights of the 2007/2012 Auris. HIR bulbs were originally made by GE and Toshiba - both stopped production a while ago. Only Philips produce the HIR2 bulbs which offer 25% more light (which presumably must be the bulbs in the Auris).
The Auris hybrid’s technology is undoubtedly brilliant. It is built at Toyota’s Burnaston plant in Derbyshire, which is good for British jobs, and there are now several advantages in choosing a hybrid over a conventionally powered car. I'm 6'3" 80Kg (12.5st) and there's plenty of room to be honest, well certainly for my height. Obviously there would be less room for a 6'3 stockily built person to a 6'3 skinny person. Quote. It's built in Britain and is one of the models that helped Toyota earn its reputation for reliability. But how convincing is it in other areas?
